Subject: Customs International Executive
Management Programme (CIEMP) 2010 for officers of
Regional Customs Administrations to be held in Canberra, Australia from 13th
October to 12th November 2010 -reg.
Sir,
Australian Customs and Border
Protection Service has invited nominations from
officers of Regional Customs
Administrations for participation in the Customs International Executive
Management Programme (CIEMP) 2010 to be held in
Canberra, Australia from 13th October to 12th November
2010.
2 CEIMP is a rigorous program presenting
contemporary management theory and practice in customs context. Management
topics will be delivered in conjunction with group exercises and participants
will be required to prepare a personal development plan. The programme is
aimed at senior Customs officers who are fully proficient in English. One officer is to be nominated by the Indian
Customs Administration. The
nominated officers would have to undergo a selection process by the Australian
Customs and Border Protection Service. The Participation in the programme will be funded by the Australian Customs and
Border Protection Service.
3 The relevant Administrative provisions
including the Aims and Objectives of CIEMP 2010, Overseas Nomination
Form and CIEMP 2010 code of conduct are attached.
4 You are, therefore, requested to forward nominations from willing and
suitable officers who fulfill the criteria specified by the WCO along with
vigilance clearance from your side. The nominations may be sent early,
so as to reach the Ministry, latest by
1st September 2010. The
nominations should be accompanied by the completed nomination form.
